Heather's work combines batik and painting - capturing the fluidity of hot wax and liquid dyes.
The natural marks and shapes that result are manipulated to create images often reminiscent of land or seascapes, sometimes incorporating a human element.
Her ideas are influenced by her frequent travels to many countries - particularly China and Tibet.
